New Target

Ok, so as I said in my last post, Comic-Con is sold out. Well, not completely sold out, but the only days left are Thursday and Sunday… on top of that I’d have to buy the tickets now, and really… that kind of defeats the purpose to get the goal before you actually reach it. So, the new goal is BlizzCon!!

My logic goes like this: Blizzcon tickets don’t go on sale for quite a while yet, and the location hasn’t been officially announced, though the main rumor is that it will be held in Las Vegas… and really, is there any better place to go as a reward to yourself than Sin City? I think not, my little babushkas.

In other news, today I bought a new cookbook!

Yeah, its from Weight Watchers, I’ve decided to go back to WW. I did it sporadically last year, and didn’t really have that much affect, mainly because I didn’t track my intake, like a nub. So yeah, that one is my own dang fault… but also I figure that while, yes, I have April being The Nutrition Guru Supreme, it would be helpful to have a little extra support, and what not. I also bought the book because I find a lot of the time that I’m eating poorly is because I’m at a loss for simple ideas. I don’t WANT to have to turn meals into a production, its bad enough living in a tiny studio with no dishwasher. Literally, every time I cook something, I have a sink-full of dishes. Its never ending, which is stressful to be completely honest. It feels like the second I get my kitchen clean, I’m right there replacing the mess with a new one. I swear, next apartment, a dishwasher is MANDATORY… now exactly what a dishwashing appliance is, would be up for debate… it could be giant thing purchased most likely at Sears, OR, I dunno… a Helper Monkey, either way, if it keeps the dishes out of the sink, I’m happy.

  1. I have one of those dishwashing appliances! (the one with the pipe sticking out of its front) But it’s frequently broke the hell down, and it certainly never works immediately after a meal. And I have to praise it copiously if it does complete the task. Total headache. ^_^

  2. While it is true that I am the supreme nutrition guru, I wholeheartedly back going to WW. Support system is key! Next ‘appointment’ we should come up with a nice big list of meal ideas. Non-meat protein sources and such included, yay!

    • I would be down for this… hopefully I’ll be well by Sunday, maybe we can do that, and then meet the boys down at Society for dinner and then pool. Sound good?
